ADHD & Autism Assessment Fees​​​​

ADHD and autism assessments are billed at $190 per 50-minute session. Most assessments involve 4 to 6 sessions, including interviews, questionnaires, feedback, and a written report with tailored recommendations.

Total costs typically range from $1,140 to $1,900, depending on the complexity and scope. Report writing is billed separately at $190 per hour, with time estimates discussed in advance.

What’s Involved

Assessments generally include:

• Clinical interviews (child, caregiver, or adult client)

• Screening questionnaires

• Collateral input (e.g. teachers, partners)

• A feedback session

• A written report with insights and recommendations

If cognitive testing is needed (e.g. for learning or processing), a referral can be provided.

Medicare Rebates

​

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP:

​

• Medicare rebates of $98.95 per session may apply

• Out-of-pocket cost per session: approx. $91.05

• Up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year are available

​

Report writing is not covered by Medicare and is billed separately.
