Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, identity questions, relationship difficulties, or patterns that don’t quite make sense, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded.

You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to begin therapy. Sometimes it starts with a knowing that something’s not quite right—or a hope to feel more like yourself again.

Common Reasons People Reach Out

People often seek therapy for a wide range of reasons, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, or panic

  • Low mood, burnout, or emotional overwhelm

  • Self-criticism, perfectionism, or shame

  • Grief, loss, or life transitions

What Therapy Can Offer

Therapy is not about advice-giving or quick fixes. It’s a collaborative process that supports you to:

  • Make sense of your emotional landscape

  • Recognise unhelpful patterns with care and curiosity

  • Learn ways to regulate, reflect, and respond more compassionately

  • Feel seen and supported in the midst of pain, change, or confusion

  • Reconnect with what matters most to you

Each session is tailored to your pace, preferences, and needs. Whether you want to talk, reflect, notice patterns, or just breathe in a space where you don’t have to be “on,” therapy can meet you there.

Approach and Values

Therapy is offered with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and relational lens. This means:

  • Your identity, history, and lived experience are respected

  • Language and strategies are adapted to suit your nervous system and context

  • We don’t pathologise—we get curious, together

  • Safety, collaboration, and choice are central to the work

Some therapeutic approaches that may be used include EMDR, attachment-based therapy, emotion-focused approaches, and body-aware strategies—always shaped around what works for you.

Fees and Mental Health Care Plans

Individual therapy sessions are available for adolescents and adults, and may be eligible for Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan. If you're not sure whether this applies to you, you’re welcome to get in touch to find out more.
