Services

Support is tailored to the needs of each person, family, or professional seeking help. This page offers an overview of the services available.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a supportive and confidential space to explore the impacts of trauma, relationships, identity, and emotional distress. Sessions are guided by your history, goals, and pace, and may include unpacking past experiences, developing emotional regulation skills, or strengthening your sense of self and safety in relationship.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Complex or developmental trauma

  • Relationship and attachment patterns

  • Emotional regulation and self-worth

  • Parenting challenges and intergenerational stress

Therapy may draw on a range of evidence-based approaches including EMDR, somatic therapy, and psychodynamic or relational frameworks

Support for Children & Young People

Therapy with children and young people is tailored to their developmental stage, emotional needs, and individual ways of engaging. Sessions may involve play, art, storytelling, or gentle conversation—creative and relational tools that support expression, insight, and emotional safety.

Caregivers are often involved to help strengthen connection and support change beyond the therapy room. When appropriate, therapy may take the form of child–parent work, such as Child–Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Theraplay, or Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), where healing happens through the caregiver–child relationship.

Areas of support may include:

  • Emotional distress such as anxiety, shutdown, or emotional outbursts

  • Trauma, loss, or significant transitions

  • Relational challenges at home or school

  • Neurodivergence, sensory sensitivity, or communication differences

Parenting Support & Psychoeducation

Caregivers play a vital role in a child’s healing and development—and often carry a great deal themselves. Parenting support offers a space to reflect on your relationship with your child, your own responses, and the challenges you may be navigating as a family.

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. Support may include developing co-regulation strategies, exploring emotional patterns, or making sense of behaviour through a trauma- and attachment-informed lens.

Parenting support can be offered on its own, or as part of a child’s therapy.
